- 4 pounds 1 whole chicken, cleaned and cut-up into parts
- 1 cup (250 milliliter) brown sugar, divided
- bag 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bottle Stubb’s Original Bar-B-Q sauce
Preparation
- 1 Place half of the onion slices in bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup (125 ml) of the brown sugar. Layer chicken parts over top. Top with remaining onion slices. Pour Bar-B-Q sauce over chicken and onions. Sprinkle evenly with remaining brown sugar. Cover.
- 2 Cook 5 hour on HIGH.
- 3 When done, pull meat off bones and shred using 2 forkes. Serve with additional Bar-B-Q sauce on a roll if desired. .
