Usage Tips
Perfect for pasta dishes including linguine with chicken or macaroni and cheese. Also excellent for adding a twist on lasagna and other casseroles. Pour on roasted cauliflower or steamed broccoli and use in place of cream in scalloped potatoes. For brunch, spoon on scrambled or poached eggs and ham on toasted English muffins.
Stove top directions:
In medium saucepan, whisk together sauce mix and 1-1/4 cups (300 mL) milk. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
Microwave directions:
In 1-quart (1 L) microwave-safe bowl, combine sauce mix and 1-1/4 cups (300 mL) milk. Cook uncovered on HIGH power for 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbly and thickened, stirring after each minute.
Makes about 1-1/4 cups (300 mL).
