Get grilling with tasteful twists on the usual burger, along with flavourful toppings and buns to please every palate. To customize and create your own signature burger, mix a spoonful or two of flavour add-ins of your choice into 1 lb (500 g) of your favourite ground meat, finely chopped seafood or meatless base; shape into 4 patties (or 8 sliders) then grill or pan-fry over medium heat, turning once, until cooked through.

Bonus Tips for Better Burgers:

  • Add a beaten egg to burger mix for rich flavour and to help bind meat
  • Add a heaping spoonful or two of toasted bread crumbs or Panko for added flavour and as a meat binder
  • Stir in a few spoonfuls of grated onion for added flavour and to keep burgers moist
  • To keep patties from bulging in the middle while cooking, make an indent in centre of each patty with the back of a spoon before grilling
  • To keep patties from sticking to grill grate, start with a lightly greased hot grill
  • Flip burgers as needed but resist the urge to press down on patties with a spatula as this will squeeze out flavourful juices while cooking
